Lisa Brosseau

An Ontological Coach, and Educator with a calm, embodied presence shaped by a lifetime of adventure and a late-in-life journey into horsemanship. I believe horses hold a profound capacity for healing and emotional congruence, and it is never too late to create the life you want. I love creating powerful conversations that help individuals shift perspectives, navigate challenges, and step into new ways of being. Guided by my values of integrity, courage, and beauty, and inspired by my faith as a Baha’i, I am devoted to fostering the oneness of humanity, cultivating unity and peace within ourselves and the world around us. For more than 20 years as a teacher—and more than a decade living and working overseas—I have guided students and clients through challenging conversations, critical thinking, and personal transformation. I thrive in diverse settings and among people from all walks of life. Before dedicating myself to education and coaching, I lived a life of adventure in Alaska—working as a Naturalist, Helitack Wildlands Firefighter, and commercial fisherman—which taught me courage, resilience, and the power of presence under pressure. These experiences inform my work, giving me a grounded perspective and a deep appreciation for the complexity of human potential.
My coaching approach is a guided process of courageous, compassionate self-inquiry designed to help you reconnect with yourself and live with greater clarity, authenticity, and inner integrity. As an Ontological Coach, I am less interested in helping people fix themselves than in helping them understand themselves. I believe lasting transformation does not come from becoming someone new—it comes from rediscovering who you are beneath fear, conditioning, and the survival strategies that once helped you navigate life. I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, cultivate self-awareness, question inherited narratives, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom. Through deep listening, curious inquiry, and genuine presence, I support you in moving from fear-based survival toward a more intentional and wholehearted way of living, loving, and relating. Together, we explore the interconnected domains of language, emotions, and the body to uncover the patterns shaping your way of being. As awareness deepens, new possibilities emerge, allowing you to respond to life with greater freedom, self-trust, and choice. My coaching is grounded in Ontological Coaching principles, deep reflective inquiry, transformational dialogue, and an unwavering commitment to honoring your dignity, autonomy, and inner wisdom. This work is not about quick answers or temporary solutions. It is about cultivating a different relationship with yourself—one rooted in presence, self-loyalty, compassion, and authenticity—so that your life reflects who you truly are, rather than who you learned you had to be. I believe that when we come home to ourselves, we naturally begin to live, lead, and love from freedom rather than fear.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to engage in courageous, compassionate self-inquiry with openness, curiosity, and a genuine desire for meaningful growth. They recognize that lasting change comes not from finding quick answers, but from developing a deeper understanding of themselves and moving from limitation to possibility. Many of my clients have spent years becoming who they believed they needed to be—devoted partners, parents, professionals, caregivers, or achievers—only to find themselves disconnected from their own inner voice. They may be navigating relationship transitions, separation, or divorce; struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense of feeling lost; or simply longing to live with greater authenticity, self-trust, emotional resilience, and intention. If you are ready to reconnect with yourself, cultivate a more compassionate relationship with who you are, and begin living from freedom rather than fear, we may be a good fit. All are welcome.

Conversation Styles

Taking the first step toward coaching can feel both exciting and uncertain. That's why I offer a complimentary 30–45 minute Discovery Call—a relaxed, no-obligation conversation where we can get to know one another. During our conversation, you'll have the opportunity to share what is bringing you to coaching, explore what you hope to gain from the process, and ask any questions you may have about my approach. I'll also explain how I work and what you can expect from coaching so that together we can determine whether we're a good fit. This call is not a coaching session or a commitment to continue. It is simply an opportunity to connect, explore what's possible, and decide whether working together feels like the right next step for you. If you're curious about coaching, navigating a life transition, or simply sensing that something within you is asking for attention, I warmly invite you to reach out. I would be honored to meet you and explore whether this journey is one we are meant to begin together.
