Sharon Broadway

Sharon is an ontological coach (Newfield Network certified) whose approach is rooted in the body as much as the mind. Rather than problem-solving from the head, she helps clients find their way into a different felt state first — grounded, spacious, resourced — and lets insight follow from there. Drawing on her background as a professional dancer, yoga instructor, and bilingual facilitator, Sharon works at the intersection of coaching, movement, and community practice. Her clients don’t just understand their patterns differently; they carry a physical cue — a breath, a stone, a moment of gratitude — that changes how they show up in work, parenting, and creative risk long after the session ends.
I can’t think your way out of a nervous system that’s braced — so before we strategize, we observe. I start by tracking what’s actually present: your body (where’s the tension, the bracing, the collapse?), your emotions (what mood are you standing in?), and your language (what story are you telling, and where’s it looping?). That read tells me what we’re really working with. From there, we don’t jump straight to reframing — we move. A brief somatic practice, a breath, a felt moment of gratitude creates the shift first. Once the body softens — a jaw unclenches, shoulders drop, the chest warms — insight isn’t a stretch anymore; it’s already available. This is where the language lives: “Is this an emergency?” to interrupt urgency. “Loosen the grip” to soften perfectionism. “Welcome the feeling” to stop outrunning what’s here. Simple, body-rooted cues that convert an intellectual insight into something you can actually feel permission to do differently. This isn’t advice-giving. It’s observation, then movement, then meaning — and it’s what makes the change durable, not just a good session.
I work best with people who are ready to feel their way into change, not just think their way there — clients who sense that the advice they’ve already gotten isn’t the missing piece. You might be a Mind-Body Connection Seeker, someone who sits with tension between what your body knows and what your mind keeps overriding. Or you might be a Burned-Out High Achiever in Transition — someone whose old strategies for managing pressure (perfectionism, control, pushing through) have stopped working and who’s ready for something more sustainable. If you’re willing to pause mid-spiral and try a breath before a reframe, if you want tools you can actually carry into a hard meeting or a hard parenting moment — not just a new mindset, but a new felt baseline — this work is meant for you.

Conversation Styles

If something in this profile landed for you, maybe you read that and felt a little exhale, or a yes, that's what I need — trust that. That feeling is data. I offer a complimentary introductory call because coaching only works when it's the right fit, and the best way to know that isn't to read more about me — it's to actually be in a conversation together and notice what happens in your body. No pitch, no pressure. Just space to talk about what's going on for you and see if this way of working makes sense for where you are. If you're ready, I'd love to meet you.
